On July 6th, Akita University conducted an emergency drill at International House and Tegata Dormitory (Women’s) for the purpose of dormitory student to think over again the earthquake disaster prevention.
Students who participated confirmed escape procedures in a serious manner.
Haral food was distributed for better understanding of cultural difference between exchange students and local residents in response to the difficulty experienced in past disaster.
Feedbacks from the students were “By carrying out an emergency drill, I would like to act adequately at the time of the disaster.” and others.
