On September 27th, faculty members from Red Sea University of Republic of the Sudan visited Akita University. Red Sea University is a national University located in Port Sudan with 17 faculties and over 9,000 students. In December, they will be accepting 4 students for resource field work from Faculty of International Resource Sciences and also be developing a joint educational program for the purpose of collaborative learning and research.
At the discussion, vigorous exchange of views was made for the possibility of joint research.
