On October 3rd, opening ceremony for short stay program of sustainable resource development 2016 was held.
This program started in 2011 with 6 students from 3 overseas partner universities where this year total of 13 students from 7 countries will be joining the program. Over the 4 weeks, they will be attending the lecture of their specialized field, make a field trip to resource related facilities and work on their research subject.
At the opening ceremony President Fumio Yamamoto welcomed participants with presentation of restructuring and establishment of facilities.
After the research result presentation, a certificate of completion was handed over.
