On February 4th, Akita University held a calligraphy lesson “Let’s challenge Japanese calligraphy!”
This lesson was held at Akita University Information Center as a part of calligraphy lesson event. As a first step, kakizome, an event where the first calligraphy of the year is written with a brush was held early January for international students. As the second part, for this time’s calligraphy lesson, not only international students but also Japanese students and local residents participated.
