Akita University's students, as part of the SEG Student Chapter activities, held a joint symposium and geological excursions with SEG Student Chapter of University of Tasmania

The SEG (Society of Economic Geologists) Student Chapter of Akita University conducted a joint seminar with the SEG Student Chapter of University of Tasmania at Mineral Industry Museum (Photo 1). They also conducted geological excursions to the Kuroko deposits in the Hokuroku region and the hydrothermal systems in the Kazuno region (Photo 2).
