SEG Student Chapter of Akita University Conducted An Autumn Workshop

The SEG (Society of Economic Geologists) Student Chapter of Akita University, in collaboration with the Society of Resource Geology, conducted an autumn workshop on ‘Gold Deposits in the eastern Tohoku region.’
Following Professor Yasushi Watanabe’s lecture on October 12, they investigated the Mano Mine and Inaiishi Quarry on the 13th, and the Tamayama Mine and Shishiori Mine on the 14th, learning about the characteristics of gold mineralization in this region.
