Regarding the International Symposium: "Exchange between Africa and Japan through Resources Studies Education"

Our university, in collaboration with Hokkaido University and Kyushu University, has been selected for the "FY2025 Inter-University Exchange Project".
As part of this project, we will hold an international symposium on the theme of resources studies education.
This symposium aims to foster top-tier professionals who will contribute to sustainable mineral resource development in Southern Africa, and to promote the formation of exchange between Japan and Africa through resources. We hope to provide a forum to deepen discussions on the future of education and collaboration, aiming for synergistic effects that leverage the unique characteristics of both Japan and Africa.
On the day of the event, we will invite researchers from partner universities in Africa and Japan to give presentations on the current situation and future prospects of resources studies education at their respective institutions.
