Inter-University Exchange Project – International Symposium – was held

On Tuesday, March 17th, Inter-University Exchange Project – International Symposium –was held at JICA Global Plaza in Tokyo. Researchers from partner universities in Africa and Japan were invited to give a presentation on the current status and future prospects of resource education at their respective universities. A total of 65 participants, both in-person and online, joined this symposium and had lively discussions during the Q&A session.

This project aims to develop professionals who will contribute to the sustainable development of mineral resources in Southern Africa and promote exchanges between Japan and Africa through these resources. The symposium served as a valuable opportunity to deepen each university’s understanding and build cooperation for future collaboration.
