Applicants who may require special consideration in their examinations and learning as a result of illness/injury, or disabilities to physical or mental functions such as physical disabilities or developmental disorders (hereafter ‘disabilities’) should fill in the necessary sections of the document, ‘Prior Consultations for Applicants requiring Special Consideration in their Examinations and Learning’ before lodging their applications, and submit it along with a medical certificate from a doctor etc. by the below deadline. Please consult with the university as soon as possible in the event that you wish to sit examinations using equipment which you rely on for assistance on a daily basis, such as a hearing aid, crutches or a wheelchair, or if circumstances arise following the elapse of the aforementioned deadline that necessitate special consideration in sitting examinations, such as an unforeseen accident.
Also, as in some cases the university needs to make certain preparations to accommodate applicants who require special consideration depending on the nature of the disability, please consult with the university even if you are unsure whether you will apply, and inform the university at a later date if you no longer require special measures for whatever reason, such as you chose a different career path and are no longer considering applying.
Please note that the content of prior consultations does not in any way influence the university’s decision over whether or not to accept applications.
