What I learned through the program
I had classes every day to improve my English listening and reading skills, and there were always lots of opportunities for conversation. Therefore, I was able to talk to many different people, which was a great experience for me.
My life during the program
My host mother was Japanese. Therefore, I had no trouble communicating with her, and we ate Japanese food for dinner every day, which meant I was in a familiar environment.
Overall impressions of the program
I had a lot of opportunities to meet Canadians and Chinese people, and to experience foreign cultures, which broadened my sense of values. I learned how much fun it can be just to be able to speak in English.
Future plans for study
I am thinking of studying abroad for a long time while I am still at university, and I want to be able to speak English better than ever before.
