On Sunday, November 17, 2024, the 35th Japanese Speech Contest for Foreigners was held by the Akita UNESCO Association.
This contest is a speech contest in which foreigners living in Akita Prefecture present their daily thoughts in Japanese, and this year's presenters were 12 foreign residents living in Akita Prefecture.
For students from Akita University participated in the contest, and two of them won the Excellence Award.
