Lecture by Project Associate Professor Umeki

On Monday, March 17, 2025, nine doctoral students from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering and the Graduate School of International Resource Science visited our lab.

This visit was part of a one-day internship for the "Resource Science and Engineering Co-Creation Doctoral Human Resource Development Program for the Realization of a Green Society" (Project Manager: Professor Akihiro Yamamura, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Akita University), a project adopted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)'s Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation (SPRING).

On the day, Specially Appointed Associate Professor Yasuyoshi Umeki of the Akita Prefectural University Regional Collaboration and Research Promotion Center gave a lecture on the theme of aircraft electrification and research and development in Akita.

Afterwards, Specially Appointed Professor Kutsuzawa of the Center gave an overview of the lab and introduced the motor bench and Copper Feather in the laboratory (1).

We believe it was a great stimulus for everyone to learn about the differences between university and corporate research, and to learn about research examples aimed at practical application in different fields.
Thank you all so much for visiting!
