Introduction of this Faculty
We study the problems of modern society over the course of human history comprehensively to cultivate future teachers and human resources who can lead the creation of new life culture.
The Faculty of Education and Human Studies
The Faculty of Education and Human Studies is reorganized to a new Faculty consisting of two departments, namely "The Department of School Education" for cultivating future teachers and "The Department of Regional Studies and Humanities" for being the core of local cooperation. The Department of School Education is positioned to cultivate future teachers who can contribute to the revitalization of local education with close cooperation with the field of education, and The Department of Regional Studies and Humanities is positioned to solve local problems from multilateral viewpoints and to cultivate the human resources who can contribute to the local revitalization. These two departments inherit the comprehensiveness and the interdiscipline of the former four departments.
Department of School Education
We cultivate future teachers, who can deeply comprehend children and can cope with various educational problems, based on their rich humanity, expertise and technique, combined with practical leadership.
Department of Regional Studies and Humanities
We cultivate future teachers, who can have perspective on future human lives to contribute to the local revitalization under the harmonization between the local economy and life culture.

Admission Policy
The following human resources are welcome to the Faculty of Education and Human Studies.
- A person who has a deep understanding of children, has a strong devotion to education and childcare, and has a firm intention to work in a school or a childcare facility.
- A person who is willing to develop the expertise as an educator through active intercommunication with children and students.
- A person who has strong motivation to consider various problems in local communities and to actively and concretely make proposals for the revitalization of local communities.
