This is a course to learn social systems in a practical manner by going to and from the classroom (theory) and the field (experience).

Characteristics of the course

This course develops the ability to view regions comprehensively and clearly based on your knowledge of social sciences.

While acquiring knowledge of social sciences such as law, politics, economics, business administration, sociology, this course cultivates the ability to see through regional problems with a comprehensive outlook by also combining elements of geography, environmental studies, diet and health studies, residential architecture and environmental science, and information science.

By not just understanding regional problems in the classroom but by actually entering communities and researching extensively, you will learn in a practical manner about the lives of local people, social activities, and the activities of government and businesses.

Reassessment of regional resources

We educate individuals to rediscover, evaluate, and utilize diverse regional living resources, environmental resources, cultural resources; to propose the future direction of industry, work and life, and to be able to contribute to making these ideas a reality.
